Fafner: Heaven and Earth

In the year 2148, Tatsumiya Island slowly begins to heal after the devastating events of the previous conflict with the Festum. However, for Kazuki, who is now nearly blind and physically scarred from his past battles, the struggle for hope remains a daily challenge. He clings to the memory of his fallen friend Soushi's promise to return and restore peace to their world. Just when Kazuki's spirits begin to wane, an unmanned submarine washes ashore, sparking a flicker of excitement. Aboard is Misao Kurusu, a mysterious boy with an enigmatic origin who claims to carry a message from Soushi.

Misao's arrival triggers a new wave of tensions between the Human Army and the Festum, forcing the Fafner pilots back into the fray. As they confront the unfolding chaos, the stakes escalate, and the battle becomes a desperate struggle not just for survival, but for the future of both humanity and the Festum.
