Tokko

Fresh out of the police academy, Shindou Ranmaru is assigned to Tokko, the Special Mobile Investigation Force. On the day he graduates, he comes face to face with Rokujo Sakura—the half-naked girl who has been haunting his dreams—only to learn she’s connected to a covert unit within Tokko known as the Special Public Safety Task Force.

Drawn in by the need to avenge his parents and uncover the truth behind the Machida Massacre, Shindou joins Tokko as the case’s shadows deepen. Across Japan, inexplicable bottomless pits begin to open, and grotesque creatures crawl out from the darkness—raising a terrifying question of whether these outbreaks are tied to the slaughter in his hometown.
