At the Ministry of Science, Professor Ochanomizu and his team work tirelessly to bring Atom back online—the groundbreaking robot said to possess a human heart. Created by the elusive Professor Umatarou Tenma as a substitute for his late son, Tobio, Atom was ultimately shut down by Tenma before he vanished, leaving Ochanomizu determined not to abandon such an extraordinary achievement.

Though he looks like a nine-year-old boy, Atom is gifted with immense power and sharp intellect, matched by a deep sense of empathy that sets him apart from other machines.
