Persona 4 the Animation

A string of baffling murders unsettles the quiet town of Inaba, and the police have little to go on. Around the same time, Yuu Narukami arrives to live with his uncle for a year while his parents work overseas, settling into life at Yasogami High School and quickly befriending Yousuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, and Yukiko Amagi.

The group soon trades rumors about the “Midnight Channel,” an urban legend said to appear only at midnight on rainy nights when someone watches TV alone. When Yuu tests the story, he sees an image that ominously resembles the murders’ next target—and is pulled into the screen himself. On the other side lies a fog-choked world crawling with dangerous “Shadows,” prompting Yuu and his friends to band together as the Investigation Team to uncover how the Midnight Channel connects to the killings.
