A string of gruesome killings in Shibuya, known as the “New Generation Madness,” has the city on edge and everyone talking. Takumi Nishijou, however, keeps himself shut away from it all—an introverted high school otaku prone to vivid delusions and an uneasy sense that someone is watching him, preferring online games and anime to the outside world.

That fragile routine collapses when a user called Shogun sends him a disturbing image of a man pinned to a wall. Soon after, at an internet café, Takumi witnesses the same scene unfold in front of him, capped by a pink-haired, bloodstained girl who calls him by name. With reality growing harder to separate from what he imagines, Takumi is pulled into the “New Gen” case and begins to fear the killer may be coming for him.
