Library Wars: The Wings of Revolution

After a terror incident ends with a helicopter crashing into a nuclear power plant, Japan enacts legislation that greatly broadens the authority of the Media Betterment Committee (MBC). Anticipating that the MBC will move against novelist Kurato Touma—whose work bears an uncomfortable resemblance to the attack—journalist Maki Orikuchi turns to the Library Defense Force (LDF), requesting protection for him.

At the same time, LDF leadership readies a legal challenge, aiming to indict the MBC by arguing that elements of its newly granted powers violate the constitution. With the Media Betterment Act itself under increasing scrutiny, the Library Task Force must balance a tense political standoff with the personal bonds forming within their ranks.
