Tight-rope

Naoki Satoya has stood by Ryuunosuke “Ryu” Oohara since childhood as his closest friend and confidant, despite the fear their classmates have for the influential Oohara yakuza family. With only a few months left before Ryu is expected to succeed his father, he shocks everyone by saying he wants to abandon the succession, become a train conductor, and live a quiet life alongside Naoki.

Determined to keep the clan’s legacy intact, the Oohara family turns to Naoki and asks him to convince Ryu to reconsider. Yet even Naoki’s words can’t seem to move him, leaving Naoki to question what’s truly driving Ryu’s stubborn resolve.
