Yukiya Ayase is a gentle, trusting university student whose life is upended when his only remaining relative—his cousin Tetsuo—betrays him and puts him up for auction to cover his own debts. Ayase is bought for an astonishing 1.2 billion by Somuku Kanou, a wealthy, hot-tempered loan shark who claims a connection to Ayase’s past—one Ayase can’t remember and doesn’t understand.

Determined to keep Ayase close, Kanou insists the “debt” must be repaid and proposes a brutal arrangement: Ayase will pay him 500,000 each time by selling his body. What begins in fear and disbelief gradually shifts as complicated feelings take root between them, challenging the idea that anything between them can be reduced to a price.
