Gate Keepers

Set against the vibrant backdrop of 1969 Tokyo, a seemingly ordinary world is disrupted by the lurking threat of mysterious beings known as "Invaders." These enigmatic entities have blended into society, their true identities remaining unknown to the public. Only the elite organization AEGIS is aware of their presence, tasked with protecting humanity through covert operations.

At the heart of this struggle is Shun Ukiya, an unassuming high school student whose life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers his unique ability to open "Gates" to alternate realms. This newfound power not only allows him to tap into immense energy but also draws the attention of AEGIS and its specialized unit, the Gate Keepers. Among them is Ruriko Ikusawa, Shun's childhood friend, who becomes pivotal in his journey to confront the Invaders and safeguard his loved ones. As Shun navigates the challenges of adolescence intertwined with extraordinary battles, the stakes grow higher, revealing a world where the line between normalcy and the fantastical blurs.
