Arve Rezzle: Kikaijikake no Yousei-tachi

Remu Mikage’s quiet video chat with his sister Shiki—now studying in the ultra-modern Mega Float City on Okinotori Island—takes a jarring turn when she admits the person on-screen is entirely synthetic. Seeking greater efficiency, Shiki used neural-linked nanomachines to transfer her consciousness into a computer, leaving her physical body preserved in a “body pool.” Remu is shaken but chooses to support her—until a catastrophe strikes.

The disaster, known as the “Early Rapture,” leaves those who uploaded their minds either dead or trapped in comas. When Remu goes to Shiki’s vacant apartment to say goodbye, she unexpectedly appears alive at the door—yet with no recollection of her family or past. Hunted by a brutal team of researchers, the siblings are thrust into a desperate escape, relying on Shiki’s emerging ability to manipulate nanomachines to survive.
