City Hunter '91

Ryo Saeba returns to Tokyo’s streets as the “City Hunter,” a sweeper-for-hire who takes on cases from clients with nowhere else to turn. Working alongside his partner Kaori Makimura, he digs into mysteries and confronts dangerous criminals with expert marksmanship and a knack for getting results.

Off the job, Ryo’s wandering eye often lands him in trouble, and Kaori is quick to keep him in line—usually with her trademark oversized hammer. The mix of hard-boiled action, light comedy, and case-of-the-week intrigue keeps their partnership as entertaining as it is effective.
