Ghost Slayers Ayashi

Set against the backdrop of Edo during the Tenpo 14 era, a sinister threat emerges as Yoi, otherworldly monsters, begin to invade the city. In response to this growing danger, a clandestine organization known as Bansha Aratemesho operates under the guise of a scholarly institution dedicated to studying foreign literature. However, their true mission is far more perilous: they are committed to eradicating the Yoi and protecting the populace from their malevolent influence.

Tasked with this vital mission, the warriors known as Ayakashi come together to confront the Yoi. These unlikely heroes, each with their own peculiarities—such as a boy suffering from amnesia and a girl who defies gender norms—possess unique abilities that aid them in their battles. As they delve into the mysteries surrounding the Yoi and the strange occurrences throughout the land, the Ayakashi navigate a world filled with danger and intrigue, revealing both the darkness of their foes and the strength of their bonds.
