Samurai Deeper Kyo

In 1600, amid the misty carnage of Sekigahara, two extraordinary swordsmen crossed blades: Kyoushirou Mibu, a principled warrior who wielded the rare powers of the Mibu Clan, and the feared “Demon Eyes” Kyou, a thousand-man slayer with blood-red eyes and hair. Their duel was abruptly halted when a meteor crashed onto the battlefield, and both men disappeared in the chaos.

Four years later, gun-toting bounty hunter Yuya Shiina tracks down Kyoushirou—now a wandering medicine seller with a lecherous streak and a mountain of debt. When a monstrous, inhuman attacker comes for him, the confrontation stirs the return of “Demon Eyes” Kyou, whose consciousness has been sealed within Kyoushirou’s body since that night at Sekigahara.
