Charley is a cyborg vampire carrying out the Vatican’s covert assignments, bound as the thrall of the charismatic vampire playboy Johnny Rayflo. Their uneasy partnership mixes sharp banter with brutal confrontations as they chase down dangerous cases—often clashing as much with each other as with their targets.

As Charley struggles to keep his own bloodlust in check, the pair are drawn into encounters with a childlike vampire princess and a shadowy faction within the Unitarian Church, where mystery, violence, and sacrilege collide.
