The Hakkenden: Legend of the Dog Warriors

In the tumultuous era of feudal Japan, the Awa clan finds itself on the brink of extinction, besieged by a rival clan and their malevolent supernatural allies. In a twist of fate, the clan's loyal dog retrieves the severed head of the enemy warlord, a gesture meant to secure their survival, but it leads to an unexpected and bizarre alliance with the warlord's daughter. Though this union is short-lived, it results in the birth of eight puppies, each destined to embody the virtues of bushido.

These eight puppies, reborn as the legendary Dog Warriors known as the Hakkenden, embark on their individual journeys fraught with conflict and vengeance. As they navigate their tumultuous paths, the warriors gradually converge, harnessing their combined strength to confront the demonic forces that threaten their clan's legacy.
