Synopsis

In a world sliding toward ruin, an old prophecy promises that as the end arrives, a passage to Paradise will appear. The legend offers the last hope in a barren age—and insists that only wolves can lead the way. Though believed extinct, wolves still endure by living among humans, hidden behind convincing illusions.

Kiba, a solitary wolf, follows a strange, irresistible scent to Freeze City, a struggling town controlled by the ruthless Lord Orkham. There he crosses paths with three other wolves—Hige, Tsume, and Toboe—each drawn by the same call. Guided by the fragrance of the fabled Lunar Flowers, said to unlock Paradise, they travel through shattered cities and wastelands in search of the promised land, pursued by others who seek the same destination for far darker reasons.
