In a twist of fate, fourth-grader Lamune's passion for video games leads him on an unexpected adventure when he encounters a mysterious peddler girl. After assisting her in selling her wares, he becomes captivated by a game titled "King Sccasher." Upon completing the game, he is astonished to find the peddler girl, Princess Milk, emerging from the screen to reveal his destiny as "The Blood Relative of the Chosen Hero Lamuness." She invites him to the fantastical realm of Hara-Hara World, where Lamune's mission is to awaken the slumbering Guardian Knights.

To fulfill his quest, Lamune must locate the shrine housing Tama-Q, a robotic companion destined to assist him as he liberates the Guardian Knights from their slumber. Each knight possesses a unique personality, existing as free-thinking mechas, with the exception of King Sccasher, which he pilots himself. However, challenges await as he faces off against the nefarious Don Harumage and his loyal minions, Da Cider and Lesuka. This vibrant blend of adventure and humor unfolds as Lamune navigates his new reality, striving to unite the knights and restore peace to Hara-Hara World.
