Harada Kusuko, a high school student, harbors deep feelings for her charming classmate, Mishima Takeshi. When Mishima, recently single, invites her to accompany him on the class trip to Kyoto, Kusuko is thrilled. However, her excitement is soon overshadowed by the revelation that Mishima is still emotionally entangled with Shouko, his former middle school teacher, whose own marriage is falling apart. This complicated triangle stirs a mix of emotions as Kusuko navigates her feelings while grappling with the reality of Mishima's lingering attachment.
