Gatchaman Crowds Insight

A massive UFO suddenly appears over Japan and crashes in farmland near Nagaoka, shattering the everyday routine of Tsubasa Misudachi. As the Gatchaman—Tachikawa City’s famed protectors—move in to manage the incident, a gentle alien being steps out of the wreckage, throwing the situation into further confusion. Amid it all, Gatchaman founder J.J. Robinson entrusts Tsubasa with a high-tech notebook known as a NOTE, marking an unexpected invitation into the team. Guided by fellow hero Hajime Ichinose, Tsubasa begins learning what it means to fight as a defender of justice.

At the same time, CROWDS technology is spreading through society, allowing people to give physical form to their consciousness, with Prime Minister Sugayama publicly backing its use. But the rise of VAPE—an enigmatic group wielding distinctive red CROWDS to cause destruction—starts turning public sentiment against the technology. With tensions mounting, the Gatchaman and their newest member must confront VAPE’s escalating threat before the damage becomes irreversible.
