Sixteen years after a meteor wiped it out, Graviton City has risen again as a sleek, futuristic metropolis. For Eiko Magami, though, the rebuilt skyline barely registers—she’s a superpowered high schooler with simpler priorities: getting to class on time and staying close to her best friend, Shiiko Kotobuki.

That routine is thrown off when the brilliant Biko Daitokuji sets her sights on Shiiko and decides there’s only one way to take Eiko’s place. To counter Eiko’s overwhelming strength and speed, Biko builds a mecha and challenges her right at the school gates, turning an ordinary morning into a full-scale showdown. As their clash escalates, a colossal spaceship appears above Earth, searching for something long left behind.
