Bubblegum Crisis

In 2032, seven years after the Second Great Kanto Earthquake left Tokyo in ruins, the metropolis has been rebuilt as MegaTokyo—raised through the work of mechanical laborers called “Boomers.” Once intended to serve humanity, Boomers are now being manufactured by the shadowy Genom corporation as devastating new weapons, some even able to pass for human.

To combat the surge in Boomer-related incidents, the AD Police is formed as a specialized unit, but the scale of the threat quickly outpaces their ability to respond. Standing in the gap is a covert team of armored vigilantes known as the Knight Sabers: Sylia Stingray, Priscilla “Priss” Asagiri, Nene Romanova, and Linna Yamazaki, who take the fight to any Boomer that goes too far.
