With the seas under siege by the mysterious Abyssal Fleet, a dedicated naval base is formed to fight back. Its frontline forces aren’t conventional ships, but Kanmusu—girls who carry the spirits of Japanese warships and can equip specialized armaments that let them wield that power in combat.

Fubuki, a newly enlisted Destroyer-type Kanmusu, arrives at the base eager but inexperienced and easily shaken. Despite her nerves, she’s placed into the renowned Third Torpedo Squadron and finds herself facing real battles almost immediately. After being pulled back from the brink of destruction, Fubuki sets her sights on growing strong enough to stand alongside the one who saved her.
