Five distinct realms—Black, White, Green, Red, and Blue—are connected through a gateway known as the Halo, maintaining a fragile equilibrium. That balance is shaken when the Halo abruptly opens during the World Connect, an upheaval that puts the universe itself at risk. As Ouroboros, an alien force determined to hasten the end of everything, begins its assault, each world turns to gifted girls called Exceed, whose extraordinary powers make them humanity’s best defense.

Saya Sougetsu, an Exceed from the Blue World’s Earth, sees the crisis as her chance to matter and enlists in the fight. Joining the defense effort, she crosses paths with fellow Earthling Amane Ayashiro and other capable fighters drawn from the remaining worlds. With the threat escalating, their survival hinges not only on strength, but on whether the connections they form can hold firm against a relentless enemy.
