Captain Earth

On the eve of summer vacation, second-year high schooler Manatsu Daichi spots a strange circular rainbow hanging over Tanegashima and heads to the island on his own. The sight isn’t new to him; it stirs memories tied to his father’s mysterious death and a past encounter with an unusual boy and girl.

Daichi arrives as alarms blare from a facility marked “Earth Engine,” where he’s abruptly asked whether he is a captain. At the same time, robotic invaders from Uranus known as the Kill-T-Gang descend, setting the stage for a mecha conflict that unfolds beneath the glittering expanse of space—alongside threads of romance woven into the sci-fi drama.
