Dai-Shogun: Great Revolution

Set in an alternate Japan where the Meiji Restoration of 1868 never took place, *Dai-Shogun: Great Revolution* looks back to the late Edo period and the upheaval sparked by the arrival of the foreign “Black Ships.” When the country faces an unprecedented threat, an ancient giant robot known as Onigami drives the Kurofune away, cementing a national push to shut out outsiders.

From that turning point, the story unfolds in a Japan reshaped by isolation and the lingering presence of Onigami—alongside a notably offbeat boast: “I can be the greatest man in the world, because I am a virgin!!”
