Ninja Slayer From Animation

In ancient Japan’s so-called age of ninja tranquility, ninja were feared as ruthless, near-mythic beings who ruled through karate. A select few broke taboo by performing a forbidden form of hara-kiri, preserving their souls at Kinkaku Temple for resurrection. Over time, their true history was altered and buried, and the reality of what they were faded from memory.

Far in the future, where cybernetics and electronic networks dominate society, those long-sealed ninja souls are released into the shadows of Neo-Saitama. Kenji Fujikido, a salaryman shattered by the loss of his wife and child in a ninja turf war, narrowly escapes death—only to be possessed by a mysterious ninja soul. Reborn as Ninja Slayer, he wages a personal campaign of vengeance, cutting through the dystopian underworld in deadly battles against the Soukai Syndicate’s ninja.
