With the Volunteer Service Club now up and running, more students begin turning to it for help with their everyday problems. Yet as requests pile up, the club’s approach to solving them becomes a source of tension—especially when Hachiman Hikigaya’s blunt, pragmatic methods collide with Yukino Yukinoshita’s more principled outlook, putting strain on the group’s relationships.

Even so, the trio continues to work together, searching for a way to understand one another while untangling the feelings and expectations that come with school life. In that push and pull, they edge closer to finding something they can honestly call genuine.
