Yoshimura Mamoru, a boy who was miraculously saved by Beatrice as a child, begins his first day there with an unexpected encounter beneath the cherry blossoms: a girl he’s never met abruptly tells him to date her. She’s Takasu Ayako, a second-year student and the strict head of the discipline committee—one year his senior, the granddaughter of a prominent politician, and a brilliant Beatrician feared enough to be nicknamed “Witch Beatrice” or “Death Angel.” Despite her intimidating reputation, Ayako’s true nature is far more sincere than the rumors suggest.
