Fresh from the countryside, Kouta arrives in the city to live with his grandmother and start high school, hoping to keep his head down and make a decent first impression. That plan quickly unravels when Chizuru—a striking fox spirit—takes an immediate, very public interest in him.

Kouta’s sudden popularity isn’t limited to one supernatural admirer. Nozomu, a wolf spirit, and other youkai also set their sights on the bewildered newcomer, turning his school life into a romantic tangle filled with comedy, flirtation, and otherworldly attention he never asked for.
