Medaka Box

Medaka Kurokami seems to excel at everything—she’s talented, brilliant, and admired across Hakoniwa Academy, with a sincere desire to make others happy. When she runs for Student Council President, her overwhelming victory is hardly a surprise.

Her first move in office is to install the “Medaka Box,” a request box where students can ask for help with anything at all. With her cynical childhood friend Zenkichi Hitoyoshi reluctantly pulled in as support, Medaka tackles each request at an astonishing pace, marking every success by adding flowers to the student council room in hopes of one day filling the entire school. But as their goodwill-driven work continues, the challenges grow more complicated, and they begin to brush up against a troubling scheme tied to the academy—and to Medaka herself.
