Chaos Dragon

In 3015 of the Huanli calendar, the rival powers Donatia and Kouran wage a brutal struggle for dominance, and the fallout hits the small island of Nil Kamui hardest. Its territory is repeatedly seized in the name of both kingdoms, leaving the local people dispossessed. As if war weren’t enough, Nil Kamui’s own guardian deity—the Red Dragon—has lost its sanity, tearing across the island to torch villages and kill without distinction.

Ibuki, a descendant of Nil Kamui’s royal line living in an orphanage, wants nothing to do with a crown. He rejects violence and hopes for a peaceful answer, but the world closing in around him offers little room for neutrality. Pulled into the widening conflict despite himself, Ibuki must confront what it means to protect a homeland already being torn apart.
