Kazamatsuri is a thriving modern city known for its lush greenery and deep-rooted Japanese traditions. Kotarou Tennouji, a proud and inquisitive high schooler who doesn’t exactly share the town’s values, spends his days chasing small-time mischief—needling the self-styled delinquent Haruhiko and nursing a crush on the eccentric Kotori.

Gifted with the ability to “rewrite” his own body to permanently boost strength or speed, Kotarou can’t help being pulled toward the supernatural. A fateful encounter with Akane Senri—the lone member and president of the Occult Research Club, nicknamed the “Witch”—sets him on a path to rebuild the club by bringing in Kotori, the accident-prone transfer student Chihaya, the strict class representative Lucia, and the quiet Shizuru. As their investigations draw them closer, Kotarou begins uncovering each girl’s hidden side, edging toward a future that may demand he rewrite more than just himself.
