Synopsis
Tomoya Okazaki drifts through high school with little interest in the future, cutting class alongside his friend Youhei Sunohara and expecting his days to pass without meaning. On the way to school, he notices a quiet girl talking to herself who suddenly blurts out “Anpan!”—a habit she uses to encourage herself. She introduces herself as Nagisa Furukawa and immediately treats their chance meeting as the start of a friendship, though Tomoya initially brushes it off.
Before long, Nagisa keeps appearing in his life, and Tomoya gradually lets her in. He learns she repeated a year after a serious illness and now hopes to bring the school’s drama club back to life.
