Kanon

Seven years after his last visit, Yuuichi Aizawa returns to a quiet northern town to live with his aunt Akiko while his parents leave for Africa. The homecoming feels strangely hollow: his memories of the place—and of the people who should be familiar—have inexplicably disappeared, leaving even his cheerful cousin Nayuki feeling like someone he’s meeting for the first time.

As he settles in, Yuuichi finds a red headband among his belongings that no one can account for. Drawn into the town’s snowy streets, he begins to recover scattered flashes of a past he can’t quite grasp—half-remembered promises and secrets left buried. Before long, he suspects something beyond the ordinary is at work, especially as the girls he meets seem tied to the history he can’t remember.
