Synopsis
A quiet boy puts pencil to paper, sketching the shapes of fears that won’t leave his thoughts. From there, a string of occult, unsettling stories unfolds: a dream featuring a powerfully built arm you’re warned never to look at, a hospital room hiding something dreadful, and a trip to a taxidermy museum where the silence feels wrong.
Theatre of Darkness: Yamishibai 3 gathers these vignettes and others into another short-form collection of supernatural horror. Told in a kamishibai-inspired visual style, it continues the eerie, grim atmosphere established in Yamishibai and Yamishibai 2nd Season.
