After graduating from high school, Gorou Honda commits to a bold next step: chasing a professional baseball career in the United States. Rather than settling for Japan’s league, he heads to the sport’s home with the goal of reaching Major League Baseball.

The reality is harsher than he expected—players are quicker, stronger, and relentlessly competitive.
