Dies irae

Ren Fujii is an ordinary student still reeling from a fistfight that ended his friendship with a former best friend. With the steady support of his childhood friend Kasumi Ayase and the upperclassman Rea Himuro, he begins to settle back into the rhythms of school life.

That fragile normalcy is shaken when a string of gruesome murders—each victim found decapitated—hits the city. As fear spreads, Ren is plagued by recurring nightmares of facing a guillotine himself, an ominous sign that something far more violent is closing in and that harsh, supernatural battles lie ahead.
