Natsumi Mizuki, a typical fourth grader, finds her life turned upside down when her parents leave for London, and her Aunt Izumi steps in to take care of her. Izumi, an aspiring manga artist, is consumed by her pursuit of a breakthrough in her career. However, things take an unexpected twist during Natsumi's first night alone when a mysterious baby named Mirai appears—an older version of Natsumi herself, inexplicably transported back in time.

As Natsumi navigates the trials of childhood, she must now also shoulder the responsibility of raising her future self while keeping Mirai a secret from her friends and classmates.
