Fresh out of college and searching for work, Xia Ling is lured by an unusual interview notice that leads her into the perilous Rakshasa Street. When danger closes in, she’s saved by Cao Yanbing, a Soul Guardian who patrols the supernatural threats that lurk there.

As they cross paths, Cao Yanbing realizes Xia Ling isn’t as ordinary as she first appeared: she carries spiritual power and harbors a mysterious guardian spirit within.
