Every twelve years, elite mercenaries renowned for raw power, sharp strategy, and lethal skill are summoned to the Zodiac Tournament. Each combatant takes on the name and traits of one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac, entering a brutal contest where pride and survival are inseparable—and only one fighter can walk away.

The twelfth tournament opens in an abandoned city, eerily emptied of the half million residents who once lived there. To ensure the battle ends quickly, the warriors swallow poisonous gems that place a strict limit on their remaining time. With a single wish promised to the winner, the Zodiac Warriors are driven into a ruthless fight to the last.
