After advancing from the Kansai regional qualifier, the Kitauji High School concert band turns its focus to the next stage of competition. With summer vacation underway, the members throw themselves into intensive practice, including a training camp led by advisor Noboru Taki alongside his professional musician friends.

Kumiko Oumae and her classmates push toward a gold medal, but the group’s momentum is shaken when a former member expresses a desire to return, stirring up uneasy memories among the second-years. As Kumiko also uncovers unexpected details about Taki’s past and what drives his determination, the path toward nationals demands more than technical skill—testing the resolve and unity of everyone committed to the band.
