In a lively town where spirits come and go, Yuzu—a bright, earnest fox girl—begins her first day of work at Konohanatei, a traditional hot-springs inn. Despite her lack of experience at such a refined establishment, the dependable head attendant Kiri wastes no time assigning her duties and teaching her the fundamentals.

Yuzu’s enthusiasm often leads to clumsy missteps, yet her warmth quickly becomes part of the inn’s charm, endearing her to guests and coworkers alike. With guidance from the strict Satsuki, easygoing Natsume, sharp-tongued Ren, and soft-spoken Sakura, she gradually grows into the role—building bonds, discovering the rhythms of inn life, and finding a sense of belonging in a gentle, myth-tinged world.
