Batman Ninja

During a clash at Arkham Asylum, Batman confronts Gorilla Grodd over a dangerous device called the Quake Engine. The machine activates in the turmoil, and the entire asylum disappears—taking Batman with it. When he comes to, he’s no longer in Gotham, but on the roads of feudal Japan.

The surprise doesn’t last long as armed warriors move to kill him, and Batman’s search for answers points to the Joker as the one who ordered the attack. After crossing paths with Catwoman, he learns the asylum’s criminals arrived two years earlier and have carved Japan into territories of their own, with the Joker reigning as the most powerful warlord. With Arkham’s ruins now standing as Arkham Castle and much of his usual equipment out of reach, Batman must find a way to restart the Quake Engine—and survive battles against familiar enemies long enough to make it home.
