Synopsis
*Batman: Gotham Knight* is an anime-influenced direct-to-DVD anthology told through six short stories, each shaped by a different creative team and style. The lineup includes writers such as Academy Award–nominated Josh Olsen (*A History of Violence*), *Batman Begins* screenwriter David S. Goyer, and comics writer Brian Azzarello.
Conceived as a companion piece to the live-action films, it was planned to arrive two to four weeks ahead of *The Dark Knight* and to connect the events of *Batman Begins* with what follows in *The Dark Knight*.
