Hug tto! Precure

Starting over at a new school, upbeat Hana Nono is determined to act more grown-up and dependable than her usual self. Her first day goes poorly, but she quickly finds support in two new classmates: Saaya Yakushiji, the kind and diligent class representative, and Homare Kagayaki, a cool girl with an air of mystery.

That night, a baby suddenly drops onto Hana’s balcony from the sky. Hana names her Hug-tan on the spot, though the baby’s companion—a sharp-tongued, talking hamster named Hariham Harry—insists Hana isn’t the one he’s looking for before disappearing with her. Hana tries to brush it off as a strange dream, until the city is thrown into chaos by people collapsing and a towering monster draining their energy.

When Hana sees Hug-tan and Harry in danger, she steps in without hesitation. A surge of light creates a heart-shaped gem, and Hana transforms into Cure Yell to defeat the creature. Harry reveals that he and Hug-tan came from a future stopped in time by the Criasu Corporation—the same force behind the monster—and that only the Future Crystals, born from hopes and dreams, and the Precure they awaken can stand against Criasu to protect what’s ahead.
