Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2: The Sealed Card

With the Nadeshiko Festival approaching, Sakura Kinomoto’s class prepares a stage play, and she’s cast as a princess who can’t bring herself to answer a neighboring prince’s confession. The role hits close to home: Sakura still hasn’t responded to the boy who confessed to her months earlier, and the return of her cousins Shaoran and Meiling Li from Hong Kong only adds to the gentle pressure to be honest about her feelings.

Yet everyday worries are interrupted by something far more unsettling—an aura like a Clow Card and a string of strange disappearances across Tomoeda. Sakura soon uncovers a hidden creation of Clow Reed known as the “Nothing,” once sealed beneath his former house. Possessing power on par with all 52 Clow Cards, it begins stealing them away, causing objects, places, and even people to vanish along with each loss. To restore what’s been taken, Sakura must confront the Nothing—and face what she may have to give up to set things right.
