Synopsis
In *Last Period: The Journey to the End of the Despair*, magic users known as “Periods” are tasked with defeating Spirals—monsters born from isolation. Fourteen-year-old apprentice Period Haru serves in the Eighth Arc-end Division, drawn into the ongoing fight to halt the Spirals and end the repeating cycle of conflict.
Just as Haru and his teammates try to carry out their duties, a baffling theft strikes their division and leaves it bankrupt, forcing them out of their headquarters. With their organization in shambles, the group sets out to restore their branch by taking on one quest after another.
