Rifle shooting is a sport built on steady hands, focus, and pinpoint accuracy. Because firearms are tightly restricted in Japan, the discipline has traditionally been associated with the defense forces—but the spread of light-beam rifles has opened the door for younger competitors and school-level tournaments.

New transfer student Hikari Kokura arrives at Chidori High eager to pursue her passion for marksmanship, only to learn the rifle-shooting club has been disbanded due to a lack of interest. Refusing to give up, she sets out to revive it, bringing together her childhood friend Izumi Shibusawa, the half-Russian Erika Meinohama, and the reserved Yukio Igarashi. With the Chidori Rifle-Shooting Club finally reborn, the team fixes its sights on reaching the national stage.
