TAMAYOMI: The Baseball Girls

Yomi Takeda and Tamaki Yamazaki have shared a love of baseball since childhood, spending every chance they could playing catch. Through those afternoons, Yomi discovered an unusual pitching talent that felt almost magical, and the two promised they’d keep playing as they grew up—until circumstances pulled them apart. Years later, Tamaki has become a capable catcher, while Yomi, despite her gift, hasn’t found the same success and begins to drift away from the sport.

Entering her first year at Shin Koshigaya High School, Yomi tries to leave baseball behind, only to meet the baseball-loving twins Yoshino and Ibuki Kawaguchi—and unexpectedly reunite with Tamaki. A simple game of catch brings back old feelings and rekindles Yomi’s desire to pitch. Together, they work to bring Shin Koshigaya’s girls’ baseball team out of hiatus, gathering teammates and aiming for a new dream: reaching the national championship.
