Bakumatsu Crisis

Set against the backdrop of the tumultuous Bakumatsu period, this tale follows Takasugi Shinsaku, a daring soldier from Choshu, who embarks on a perilous quest alongside his ally, Katsura Kogorou. Their mission begins when they secretly board a government vessel in pursuit of a legendary timepiece rumored to possess the ability to alter time itself. Fearing that the ruling powers intend to monopolize this formidable artifact, Takasugi is determined to eliminate it before it can be misused. However, after acquiring the timepiece, it is swiftly stolen, compelling the duo to chase the enigmatic thief to Kyoto, the heart of government authority.

Upon their arrival in the capital, Takasugi and Katsura are met with a shocking reality: the government has collapsed, and the once-familiar city is now under the dominion of the deity Susanoo. As they navigate this transformed landscape, the stakes rise, and the two friends find their resolve strengthened. Undeterred by the shift in power, they are committed to their mission of resetting time and protecting their nation from the dark forces that threaten its future.
